## What is Lista DAO?

Lista DAO functions as a open-source liquidity protocol for earning yields on collateralized Crypto assets and borrowing of the decentralized stablecoin, lisUSD, also known as a "Destablecoin". The protocol consists of a dual token model (lisUSD and LISTA) and a set of mechanisms that support instant conversions, asset collateralization, borrowing, yield farming, etc.

## What is LISTA?

LISTA is the governance token of Lista DAO.

## What is veLISTA?

veLISTA is a locked version of the LISTA token. When LISTA holders lock their tokens as veLISTA on Lista DAO, they gain access to governance rights, voting power and rewards. Lista DAO provides multiple staking durations for locking LISTA as veLISTA, from a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 1 year. The longer the locking period, the more significant the benefits, and possessing more veLISTA enhances these advantages.

## What are the benefits of holding veLISTA?

▫️ **Governance Rights:** veLISTA is fundamental for Lista DAO's governance system. veLISTA holders can vote to influence the decision making and long-term development of Lista DAO. The voting weight is proportional to the lockup period and the amount of LISTA locked by users. Longer lockup, more voting weight.
